"i was nominated to post 8 facts that you may not know about me" --
1- i have had 3 other jobs besides my current; 1 job lasted a day, another for 4 days, and another
for 3 months. 2 stores were retail (horrible) and the 3rd was a pizza place in the mall (even
worse!). i never count those as jobs on my resume, because to me they were a complete joke.
2- i have a son, 1 brother, 1 step sister, 2 step brothers, a sister-in-law, and sister-in-law-to-
be, 19 aunts & uncles, approximately 58 first cousins, i think there's 8 second cousins (kids of
first cousins), 4 nieces, 1 nephew, 2 nieces-to-be, 1 niece or nephew - to-be on the way ; needless
to say, i come from a big family.
3- i have moved 12 times, 9 of which have been within the past 5.5 years. once when i was a
toddler, when my mom remarried, when my mom & stepdad bought their current house, when i moved to
college, when i moved home from college, when i moved into brookside & then back home, into the
apartment, to danny's house, to my mom's, back to danny's, and finally back into my mom's for the
time being.
4- i will never tell anyone what i'm afraid of. the last time i did, it only made people want to
show my pictures or what-have-you of this particular thing. and let me tell you, when one of these
cases happened, i went into full-on panic attack mode. it was not a pretty thing.
5- i have pretty bad anxiety, it haunts me every day. i have learned how to handle it for the most
part. i hide it well, but it seems to be getting worse as i get older .. i hope that's all in my
head!
6- i'm still in college, working on my associate's degree. it's been 5 years due to bumps in the
beginning, and the fact that i'm only taking 1 or 2 classes a semester. i will get there
eventually, it doesn't worry me at all. when you work 50+ hours a week and have a child, these
things take time. when i do finally complete my bachelor's degree in the future, i was promised
another trip to Ireland as my graduation present. i was only in second grade the last time i took a
trip there, so getting a second chance at an older age is just what i need!
7- i have been dating my best friend for almost 8 years. we have been engaged for 2 years, & picked
a date to be married! i will not be announcing the date quite yet, but i have picked out who i will
ask to be in my bridal party. i am, however, stuck between 2 choices for who i'd like to ask to be
my maid of honor.
8- i may not have a lot of friends, by i have my close ones. we don't have to talk all the time, we
don't have to see each other. but they're there when i need them, and vise-versa. some i've known
for years, others not as long. they are my truest, and each one of them has helped shaped me into
the person i am today. they are not my friends, they are my family.
