Loretta M. Bickert of West Chester It is with great sadness that the family of
Loretta M. "Lori" Bickert, announce her passing on March 27, 2013 at the age of
75. Lori died peacefully at her home while under the care of her family and
Hospice. She was born and lived most of her life in Chester County. She was the
daugh- ter of the late Walter S. Capper Sr. and Loretta McMullen Capper and
stepmother Jane Capper. Lori was the wife of Gene R. Bickert Sr, with whom she
shared 57 years of marriage. She was the owner and operator of "Lori's
Hairstyling Salon" for 47 years, retiring two months ago. She enjoyed spending
time with and ministering to her ladies. Lori was very active in her church. She
served as a Board Member and Director of the Women's Min- istry at Harvest
Worship Center in Thorndale. She enjoyed organizing church activities, various
crafts, and decorating the church to honor her Lord and Savior. Lori was a kind
and loving woman who will be missed by many people. In addition to her husband,
she is survived by her children: Gene Jr., (Skip); Anna T (Terri); and Steve
Bickert. Also by her siblings: Judy Smith, Walter Capper Jr, and Ed Capper. She
is also survived by many other loving family members. Relatives and friends are
invited to her viewing from 10 to 11:30 a.m. and funeral service from 11: 30
a.m. to 12 Noon on Saturday, March 30, 2013 at the Mauger-Givnish Funeral Home,
24 Monument Avenue, Malvern Pa. Interment will be at the Grove Methodist
Cemetery on Boot Road in West Chester. In lieu of flowers, memorial
contributions may be made to Harvest Worship Center, 1295 Marshallton Road,
Downingtown, PA 19335 or email lighthouse @harvestfullgospel.org.
